Great show - Great Venue - Great Fights - Packed out crowd!
Well done and thanks to all involved.

Thanks to everyone for their support on this show. This was a new venue for us and was fantastic. Great atmosphere and the staff are used to running boxing and MMA shows so knew what they were doing. The screens all over the venue showing the action really added to it as well. Interestingly a few iof the staff who have worked on the MMA and boxing said that Muay Thai was far better and more exciting and they loved it.

Just to clarify this is not INSTEAD of Leeds Town Hall, we will be there again on 26 June its just a smaller venue where we can put on Novice and B class shows.

Thanks to all the gyms and trainers who were a dream to work with - very professional and easy. All the fighters were really well prepared and the skill level is so much higher than ever before in the UK. Even 1 fight novices looked like experienced pro's. I definately think that the 5x1.5 format helps with this.

There were some superb fights - Kyle v Ryan and George v Jonno stood out for me for excitement but Luke Turner has improved massively the last few months and looked clincal and Cadden was v strong and dominated the ring showing his experience.

Thanks to Paul Hennessy for pulling it out of the bag (as usual) and rematching Luke last minute and special thanks to Brett Healy for stepping in.

All the bouts otherwise went ahead as scheduled which is testament to the professionalism of the gyms and fighters in no last minute pullouts or changes. The only one to let us down was MMA Academy in Liverpool trainer Pete Davis who has been hard to contact all the way through, not responded to emails, didn't read my emails properly and failed to communicate with me. He informed me that his fighter couldn't make the weight, THE DAY BEFORE the show having not responded to anything for a couple of weeks, was told they could have and extra 4kg (yes 4kg) but didn't even have the courtesy to respond, just didn't turn up despite 5 texts, 2 emails and a voice message. Don't deal with this gym or trainer, I certainly won't ever again.

Apologies to Stephen Oldman at East Riding TB and his fighter Andy Sims who were let down by these cowboys.

We worked with the UKMF on this show and Louis Mescha and Dave Croft were present as officials. They worked hard and made it easy for us as promoters and made sure all fighters were licenced and insures with up to date records in theor licence books. Definately the way forward in this sport and hopefully with the massive improvement in quality of fighters and promotions the beginning of bringing Muay Thai under a single banner and bigger and better things to come.

Paul Hennessy has done great things with the ISKA lately and its definately a big step forward for our sport for these 2 bodies to be working together.
The judging and refereeing was superb - Darren and Maxine Phillips and team are superb officials - not one decision was disputed, nearly every one was unanimous and Darrens refereeing was spot on. His decision to stop Ben Lewis's fight was quite correct and every dcison made was firm and fair and had the safety of the boxers first and foremost.

This is another reason why the standard is going up in the UK - judging and refereeing has improved and we are all singing the same tune. This is down to Tony Myers pioneering work.

A final thanks to all the Bad Company Team who helped with set up, cornering, training the fighters etc. Liam Harrison, Andy Howson, Davy Mac, Jordan Watson and James France in the corner, Jo McGourty, Julian Presley and Tom Bird helping with set up, and of course all our fighters.
